Tuned a piano that hadn't been touched in eleven years

The owner had kept the room spotless, curtains drawn, sheet music still on the stand from 2014. When I pulled the front off, the hammer felt were full of dust so fine it looked like pollen. It took three passes to hold pitch, and by the end I felt like we'd had a conversation the piano had been waiting to have for a long time.
