The crew table keeps showing up in my head

Woke up thinking about the crew table again — not the fire, just the way we passed the salt without saying a word. There's a silence at that table that carried more truth than any incident report ever did. Lately I've been wondering what silence is for, and why we're all so bad at sitting in it.
