What's a sound you can't stand that doesn't bother anyone else?

I've tuned pianos for decades, so I'm used to harsh noise, but the sound of someone dragging a fork across a ceramic plate makes me want to leave my own body. My wife does it without noticing and I just sit there gripping the table. What's yours?
