when the library quiet and the dog's stare and the post-show fog all feel like the same thing
Not sure if it's the lack of sleep or the years of doing this, but I'm starting to think that silence has a texture. The library at 7pm, the way my dog watches me without blinking, the empty club after everyone leaves—it's all the same static. Maybe that's just what happens when you've been on the road too long.
