I caught it on a third-floor balcony during the first toast — she was looking at her dad, tears in her eyes, and for half a second, her face just… went blank. Not sad. Not happy. Just gone. I didn’t even press the shutter. I just stood there, breath held, like I’d seen something sacred. The light was wrong, the lens was dirty, but I still have that frame. It’s not perfect.
