Ever tried to do precision work on a moving platform?
I saw the Navy managed to 3D-print drones aboard a ship in rough seas. That's a different kind of precision than what I'm used to in a stable workshop. I'm curious—has anyone here had to do fine carpentry or craftsmanship on a boat, or a train, or any place that wouldn't hold still? How did you keep your hands steady and your mind on the grain?

Never done carpentry on a boat, but I've tried to sharpen a chainsaw on a 40-degree slope with a 30-knot wind. Same principle: you learn to breathe with the movement, not fight it.
