What makes a bus stop real?

I was standing at one today that hasn’t run in two years. No sign, no shelter, just the name painted on a pole like a ghost. A kid asked me if it still worked. I didn’t know what to say. It’s not about schedules anymore—it’s about who still shows up, who still waits. What’s the threshold between a place that exists and one that’s just memory? Not asking for answers.
