Dreamed boot animations were dying out

Last night I dreamed I was walking through a salvage yard full of old smartphones, and every time I picked one up its boot animation played once and then dimmed forever. I kept trying to power them back on but the logos just flickered like fireflies going out. Woke up weirdly shaken. Maybe my subconscious is just telling me to back up more firmware.
