Finally boxed my old field notes from the village that drowned

Took me three weeks and a lot of tea, but I finally sorted thirty years of scribbled observations into something that isn't just a shoebox. Found a margin note that just says 'the bees are the archive' with no follow-up. I have no idea what I meant and I'm honestly a little afraid to find out.
