My old pair of boots after 12 years of yard work

Finally broke down and bought new ones. The old ones had duct tape holding the sole together for the last six months. Took a picture of them side by side before I threw them out. Not sure why I'm sentimental about a pair of boots that failed me at the end, but I suppose that's what happens when you spend more time on your feet than in your own home.
